Hello everyone,
My name is Aman Kishore and welcome to my youtube channel "LAW BY AK".
ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
In this video i talked about FIR (First Information Report) and under which circumstances one can file an FIR. I talked about two ways of registering FIR by (Online & Offline) mode. I also talked about several legal ways which can help you if police refuses to register you complaint or FIR. I also discussed about cognizable offences / non-cognizable offences and under what circumstances registering an FIR is mandatory by officer incharge of police.
Somehow, if you go to police station to file a complaint and police refuse to do so, or you file an online FIR and police not taking any action then as per Section 154(3) of CrPC, one can go to Suprintendent of Police. If still no solution has been provided then one can directly go to nearest Judicial Magistrate as per Section 156(3) of CrPC.
If still one got no solution then one can file a writ petition in High Court of their state for issuing the Writ of Mandamus.
QUERIES SOLVED:
1. What is "FIR".
2. How to file FIR.
3. How to file FIR offline.
4. How to file FIR online by mobile phone.
5. What to do if police refuses to register FIR.
6. What to do if police not taking any action on your complaint.
7. Under what circumstances registering FIR is mandatory.
8. Cognizable offences & Non cognizable offences.
9. Section 154(3) CrPC / Suprintendent of police.
10. Section 156(3) CrPC / Judicial Magistrate.
11. Writ petition (Mandamus) in High Court.
