I'm a Earth Science major in college, I am pursuing a career in Paleontology. A scientist to me is someone who studies the natural world "paleontologist, astronomer, physicist, biologist, geologist, chemist, etc."

Now, this is a basic definition of "scientist" for not all scientists study the natural world. For example you have Archaeologists, sociologists, political scientists, forensic scientists, engineers, etc.

Basically, anyone can be a scientist no matter who they are or where there from. In fact, you don't need to have a job as one, for you are one! Everyone is a scientist in the sense that they want to figure things out and that they are curious about the world around them!

I am a bit not good at science in my test I only get 35/50 points but I will work hard so I could be a Scientist and I will start by reading books, focus studying, and avoid being distracted from things . I will work hard to claim this!!

I love science, bad at maths and science good at English. I get 70-100 in exams but I don't understand all the lessons. I'm currently at grade 7 promoting to 8. I sometimes want do a job I'm good at but I have got something in my brain which always tells me to be a scientist.

The time has changed, grades are not important anymore except ur feel for adventure. Don't tell a teacher what u can become or u seal ur faith by a blind monk. Learn, Learn, Read, Search and confirm. Science is understanding in search for a answer u started by a question. Thats science! The women is very clear ^^
