Love John for his sense of humour and respect him for his outstanding talent.. He is also smart and very interesting to listen to his analysis on tennis.

Johnny Mac... he'll always be my favorite tennis player. NOBODY could serve and volley like him. Amazing touch at the net.

The way he whipped Connors in their Wimbledon final match is epic. Connors was literally struggling to put racket to ball, except when serving.

"You cannot be serious" probably the best 'When Athletes complain to refs' moment in sports history.

The most beautiful unique tennis player I have ever seen. A true artist on the court ! I miss the 80s so much.

McEnroe is marvelous, and the 30 for 30 doc. on JC is fun to watch.

John Mcenroe has had his moments in games but at his core he is for fairness, accurate line calling, anti upper crust snivelry, people milling around in their seats during points, and obnoxious courtside camera men. I give him credit for that. Like him or not, for Mcenroe, never a dull moment..and an excellent courtside color commentator. Robert at 69.

John played singles and doubles. Was and is the greatest doubles player of all times.

Anybody who refutes 'He didn't want to give me the satisfaction of winning the last point' is 100 percent accurate, Mac keeping it real and pulling no punches..Robert at 69. Conner's is the true d__k.

So Connors pulled the ' no mas ' card before Roberto Duran did it against Sugar Ray

Jimmy was a real arse. John was a prat but never unfair to his opponents.

Lost respect for Macenroe when he had the hide to bag out Margaret Court for her religious beliefs. Unbelievable when you think.of his outrageous behaviour on the tennis courts for more than a decade.

Love him always, but his casually pointing out somebody else’s poor sportsmanship is kinda’ ridic.
