New sub... you guys look like you're having fun. I've been doing this sort of nonsense for going on 45 years.... not stopping until my body caves in - still going strong (ish) at 60.

Love you ya'all doing this together. THINK about using EVERYTHING you have at hand. ESPECIALLY when on a budget. While watching this I am like, oh yeah use the plastic thing the bed set came in as a water collection device or wood hauling aid. and use the other plastic to cover the open end of the tarp. Then I was thinking you just tossed aside two pillow cases. Split them and cover one end of the trap. When you said hopefully we can figure out a way to enclose the open ends of the shelter I was like DUDE! Stop just tossing things away. I am not criticizing to be negative here. Just trying to open you mind to using all possibilities of what you have at hand. Great video, subscribed and now if you will excuse me I have to go watch the rest of them now.

Good vedio, from my experience in similar situation I know that vedgatarens simply cook their meat longer, lol. Some mesh over the end of the tent would have saved some bugs, a lot of bugs and I'm surprised the twine held up as your ridge line since it's only good for about 20 pounds of pressure. Other then that you 2 made a lot of good choices, and you made them WITH LOVE. New subscriber, here.

First of all I would have found 2 trees a little closer and farther off the trail second I would have dumped the air mattress and picked up some contractors garage bags to put leaves in for padding
