the Garou vs Saitama fight literally shows Garou getting left in the dust, he was only using one arm and gripping Genos’ core. all whilst keeping Tareo’s promise

Dude, during his fight with Boros at the end Boros even acknowledged the fact that he was holding back. He only did that cause he wanted Boros to have a "good" end and not feel powers less compared to to him but Boros saw though him and realised that if he had tried to kill Boros it would have lasted SECONDS at most.

It's almost as if whoever "wins" just relies on the style you prefer. As far as I know, Goku is more about the drama and improving himself. He'll seem to lose, and then overcome it. Not being at full power and then gaining a bit more with each thing he faces. Yet with Saitama, it's about the comedy. A normal guy who is just unbeatable, and is totally bored. He isn't about the dramatics, and talks about all these situations as if they are just annoyances. So, it really depends on what you prefer. The over coming drama, or the comedic situation. That's who will win, because they're fictional and either one can win depending on who you prefer

didnt saitama held back in the fight against gorou because he made a promise to a child to not kill gorou like at all?

When Saitama does his "serious" moves he's still holding back..

One key thing people keep missing: Saitama has never taken a single hitpoint of damage. None of these things matter if he can't take damage.

Saitama hold back not only becuase he promised a kid that he wouldnt kill garou he also used one arm the entire time and dont forget he sneezed almost half of jupiter away

In the part about saitama where you mention him destroying many stars with his and garou's punches clashing, it wasn't just stars that he destroyed because when you look yp at the night sky, all of the things you see are not just stars, but many of them are galaxies as well so then that would mean he destroyed a lot more than you said.

it doesnt defeat the misconception that he has infinite strength, it showcases that he does indeed have infinite strength, in the fight, even when fighting himself, he was able to surpass his own strength since he physically has no limits, eventually ceasing to get stronger since hes already surpassed his opponent. If he were to fight someone far stronger, like goku, since he has broken his limiter, as the fight progresses, eventually he will surpass goku in strength. thats the "infinite strength" concept which was demonstrated in the manga

Fans can speculate all they like with their power scaling highballs and lowballs and cherry pick feats and statements to write whatever kind of fan fiction they want. If there was ever an actual crossover with both characters as themselves, even ignoring the gag stuff, Goku would fight like Goku does and want to see Saitama's limit. Saitama's limit doesn't exist, and if the sparing gets to the point where his limitless growth kicks in, Goku does have a limit on his forms and energy and will get left behind.

You made a mistake. Goku wasnt in SSB when he took a fatal blow from the foot soldier lazer. he was in base. In the ressurection F movie he was in SSB, but that moment was retconned in the anime to make him in base

For somebody to say that Goku can be damaged when that concept isnt even considered for Saitama and yet still give the win to Goku is wild...

“What Would Be Your Version If Chi-Chi Continued Her Training & Became A Z-Fighter?” - I absolutely hate that Toriyama put her behind and didn't make her a Z-Fighter. She had the most potential out of any other human on earth - more than Krillin, Tien or Yamcha. Imagine how much she could accomplish if she trained alongside Goku; maybe even mastering Kaio-Ken better than him, since she'd have to rely on it more than he would. As well as drinking the ultra divine water by Karin, having her hidden powers unlocked by Grand Elder Guru, and eventually bringing out her latent abilities by Old Kai. With her entire potential unleashed and her mastery of the Kaio-Ken, she'd be more than capable to enter the Tournament of Power.

What do you think of Chi-Chi training with Krillin, Tien, Yamcha and Chiaotzu for the year, while Piccolo trains Gohan? While Goku recovers in the hospital, Chi-Chi goes to Korin to drink the ultra divine water and has Goku train her in the Kaio-Ken during their trip to Namek - where she eventually has her hidden powers unlocked by Grand Elder Guru. But she doesn't have her latent abilities brought out by Old Kai until the Tournament of Power saga. Chi-Chi would also train with Goku and Gohan in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, because the Cell in this universe would also have her DNA (and have the ability to tap into the Kaio-Ken). Chi-Chi would even help Goten and Videl with their martial arts and ki training.

the problem is that saitamas durability seems to be alot higher than his attackpotency. even while fighting garou, he never got hurt at all. unless saitama gets hurt at any time in the future, its impossible to tell how much punishment he can take.

Edit: i started a war...

Bro did more research on goku than he did saitama

One thing about Goku being easy going or confident is that he is only like that when he knows his enemies are weaker or when he has a strategy to win against them, for example, when going up against Hit he was super confident because he knew how time skip worked and had already figured a way to counter it but when against a tougher foe like Jiren, he was super serious.

In both of saitama's most difficult fights he was holding back even boros knew he wouldve lost in seconds if saitama didnt hold back and saitama promised that one kid to not kill garou so he had to hold back, along with the fists clashing he didnt destroy thousands of stars he destroyed millions+some galaxies here and there because some stars are just too dark for us to see and at one point during the garou fight garou had released a gamma ray burst which I hope you know what that is and after saitama took it head on he was unscathed, saitama had also picked up and moved a portal made by cosmic garou breaking the laws of physics we still have not seen saitama bleed yet or show any kind of pain saitama also shattered one of jupiters moon and then proceeded to jump all around thousands of times in seconds

for the first part, saitama didn't go all out because it's said that he still wanted to hold back because of the promise he made to that one kid, and for the second part, saitama took zero injuries from the battle against cosmic garou, "GoKu SolOs!!!1!11!!!!1!" stfu

😂 i think u forgot Saitama didn't use his whole other arm during the entire fight against Garo and Saitama's punches still getting stronger means that he wasn't at his limit yet. As much as we want to compare the information gathered from the Garou fight, we can't bc Saitama still didn't fight at 100% seriousness. Over all tho, i think Saitama and Goku would spare and become best of pals
