Fast Multiplication Trick

This amazing math trick can be used to multiply two digit numbers instantly.
It is important to remember that for this particular multiplcation trick that it is just that - it is very specific and has a few conditions which must be met in order for it to work. First the first numbers must add up to ten, and secondly the last numbers must be the same....so very limited, but cool nonetheless!

Alternate method (I use it because I have a good times table in my head)...
23*14
Take the first number and multiply it my the tens digit and beyond of the second number. Therefore...
23*1=23
After that, take the units digit of the second number by the tens digit and beyond of the first number. Therefore...
4*2=8
Add them...
23+8=31
Multiply it by 10...
31*10=310
Add it with the units numbers multiplied...
310+(4*3)=322

Now this...
54*138
54*13=702
8*5=40
(702+40)*10=7420
7420+(8*4)=7452

Now...
104*112
104*11=1144
2*10=20
1144+20=1164
11640+(4*2)=11648

What if you have 3 digits to work with? For example 30 x 555
