I can see that many including you don't know what all the hellraiser is designed to do lol. It's a multi function lure. It's designed to com to the top and buzz on a fast retrieve but also be sub service waking on a slower retrieve. Everyone that's figured it out has smashed bass with it lol. It's a fleeing bait fish presentation and that always catches bass. Spook is a hurt bait fish presentation and as much as I love spook style baits they also don't work all the time and there's no sub service action so you can't change up presentations, just have to change lures lol. Both are good lures though, both have a learning curve as well, most decent bass fisherman already learned the curve with a walking bait though.

i mostly target striped bass, and i prefer the spook. i like to replace the trebles with unihooks so its easier to handle and unhooke stripped bass. Zara puppy is my favorite spook, but the super spook and super spook jr are GREAT inshore lures.

I love the spook and throw it every morning I fish. Caught my biggest fish of the year, a 6.5 on it. Love that lake you're fishing. Nice video as always.

I toss em both, here where I live they definitely like the spook but they hit the hellraizer just as good. If out looking for pike I definitely throw the hellraizer, just two weeks ago cought a 36" 15lb pike mid afternoon on a sunny day so . Everyone has their preferences.

I like the spook myself but I was thinking about trying the Hellrazier but after watching your video I don’t think I’m gonna. I agree with everything you said about it. Thanks for the comparison video.

Old school rules. I love the white Super Spook Junior, have caught bass, pike and snook on it. Recently I have dressed up the back rebel hook with white feathers to give it just a little bit more jazz. Thanks for the video, you just saved me fifteen dollars with this review. 😊

The hellrazer is a really good lure if you take some time to learn the action. Granted the spook is a great design.
