Have six Jitterbugs. Been using them since 1950's. Use them with rear trebles only. Newer lures are made to attract fishermen not the fish. Another old timey is the Goldfish.

I have a buck left from my teen age years, I still throw them from time to time, and not for nothing them bass still hit it every time I throw it, you wanna get even more old school I still throw the hulapopper from time to time as well. All them old lures still work!

I've seen the jitterbug lures but never used em. One lure i do use that i think is also an og lure is the hula popper. It has a lot of water displacement and action that attracts lots of bass.

Yep, I have a couple of those in my bag and I can confirm that I'm old school😁 I'm afraid my whopper ploppers have retired them.

Ive been fishing all my life witch it 13 years and every chance i get i throw a jitterbug. Another favorite is probably the hulla popper or the zara puppy. Love your vids keep it up

I just got a bunch of vintage lures from my grandpa that him and his father used throughout the years. Most of them are from the 50s, 2 of them are solid black jitterbugs!

I had that lure and also have a few new ones, love the jitterbug and the jitterstick

Grew up on that lure. Lots of action at low speeds, caught plenty of monsters on the jitterbug over the years.

Jitterbug is gonna be the chain pickerel you catches best friend. It’s great for bass but also great top water pike bait you can troll with it at slow speeds as well for pike or chain pickerel
