Cassandra Peterson (Elvira: Mistress of the Dark) joins us this week to grace us with stories she couldn’t share before her book release… warnings from Elvis, retiring her Elvira get-up, coming out and more! We talk about what could have been with Paul McCartney and other iconic stories during her tenure as Mistress of the Dark. Cassandra shares the impact of helping people embrace being different, what made her accept the path to Elvira, and the heartbreak of losing Paul Rubin (Pee-wee Herman).

How about letting her talk without interrupting her?

I did security at a convention she was at. she stayed far longer than she was scheduled, because "all these guys show up for me, least I could do is stay to see all of them!". afterwards she thanked all the security. I got a big damned hug with her in the full elvira costume. she was the nicest celebrity we ever worked with.

Cassandra was a senior and I was a sophomore at Palmer High School in Colorado Springs CO. We were in the same drama class, and I sat next to her. I remember her as being classy and very sure of herself. She stood out in the way she carried herself, and was more grown up than most kids in high school, she was more womanly. One day I wore my new tan suede mini skirt with a brown top and heels. I had worn silver jewelry, and she suggested I wear gold next time with my outfit. She wasn't being haughty about it, just helpful. I wasn't surprised when she went to Vegas to be a showgirl, nor when Elvira emerged. Savvy, talented and beautiful lady.

It’s impossible to believe she was hanging out with Elvis when he was 34. She looks so good.

I met her a few years ago while she was dressed in her Elvira persona. She looked stunning up close.

Michael is competing with Howard Stern for most interruptions in one interview

Cassandra Peterson looks great! I understand she's in her 70's.
She doesn't looks like she's a day past 40. Awesome.

For those of us who grew up in the 80s, we KNOW Cassandra is a national treasure. I will ALWAYS stop and LISTEN to her bc she is one smart cookie. We need women like hee to school young women nowadays. You can be sex positive and not be a ho. Cassandra, you’re the greatest!

She looks unbelievably good for her age ! If I met her, I'd say, "Hey Elvira, you look great! Who's your mortician !".

Please slow down the questions. Give her time to think. I fell like she was barking answers before she had time to think if they were true or made-up.

“Creepy advice?” Misleading clickbait headline. Unnecessary and offensive. This is the worst example of scummy social media pandering.
