You can easily use the creaking. You simply have to create a single spawn location and ensure that everywhere else is spawn proofed. You also add a daylight sensor so the door remains closed during the day when the creaking aren't spawned in.

I love the idea of using creakings as eye detection for redstone. It should be that during the day their eyes are replaced by the pale wood texture and they become immovable, but there should be a way to make them stay active during the day and never despawn, and a way for them to detect you looking at them through solid blocks

5:12 imo it should act like if you spawned it in creative mode if you place the heart block that spawns it.
So essentially if its naturally spawning, it disappears in the daytime and all that, but if it exist because the player placed the heart block, it doesnt.

Actually, an "un-cooker" or "un-smelter" or anything that enables reverse crafting would un-ironically (pun not intended) make my modded worlds more viable since it'd reduce clutter and I could re-organize my recipies to what I need instead of what will be given to me

it would be cool if for the bridge builder, to not make it so tall, it dispenses the tnt onto a block, which is then pushed out of the way as the machine moves forward, letting it delay the drop until then
