The Sims 4 Horse Ranch: Official Gameplay Trailer

Carve out the ranch life you want in the Horse Ranch Expansion Pack. You’ll be able to choose from different ranch styles – like traditional cabin and big red barn – and you'll have lots of options for what you can do on your land. Host dances and cookouts, invite neighbors to see how cute your mini goats and mini sheep are, make and sell your own nectar, and even hire a ranch hand to help out.

One of the most special experiences waiting for you in this pack is living life with majestic horses. Horses are part of your Sims’ families and can be customized in Create a Sim or born as adorable foals on your ranch. You can also add new horses to your family by rescuing or purchasing them. Once horses are in your family they’ll be able to build their own skills in Agility and Jumping. When paired with the right rider a skilled horse can earn awards at the Equestrian Center, so make sure your Sims are honing their riding skills too!

They could have added pool tables, mechanical and maybe real bulls which will be basically cows swatch. They could have added fairs and a new career. When was the last time we got a new career?!?!

Kudos for the animation team for their amazing work on the horses, goats, and sheep, but if this is all there is then it really should be a game pack.

Is it me, or does this feel like the plot of a Hallmark Christmas movie? I'm gonna leave my big city life and fall in love with that rugged farm hand who reminds me what Christmas is meant to be 😂

I hope we're missing something here, because this really looks like a game pack right now. As much as I want horses in my game, I'm not paying 40 dollars for some fluff.

Edit: We unfortunately weren't missing much. The horses look cool and the world looks pretty, and I would be a lot more excited if this was a game pack. The way they did the pre-recorded livestream felt so suspicious. They "accidentally" hung out in the empty part of the world until the places in the "gameplay" part of the world were closed, but they were able to cut out a glitch and jump to showing us a kid riding a horse? Feeling even worse about it, and I think I'll be waiting for a 50% off sale to get this one.

The horses and sheep are cute in all but....this is still lacking a lot of content to be a whole expansion pack and this should have been combined with cottage living. The new world appears similar to strangerville, just bigger

I kind of feel like the Sims team thought giving us horses will satisfy us, no matter the circumstances of the pack. This is a gameplay pack with the expansion pack price tag on it. This trailer didn't give anything away. Like we already saw this in the reveal trailer. Which I think confirms there is not a lot to do. This does not deserve to cost 40 €/$.

This was just the initial trailer but with a voiceover with it. As far as I can tell, they've shown us nothing new. It's kind of crazy that this is being sold as an expansion pack when you look at the gameplay we've gotten from previous expansion packs.
