Amazing I have been doing fasting naturally for most of my adult life I hate eating in the mornings. Then as soon as I started struggling with fertility I lost my intuition of what’s best for me with food. Started eating breakfast and having bigger portions to fit everything in each meal stressing out that I’ve missed out something. Tried also sorts and nothing seems to stop Miscarrige and make sure the foetus grows to no avail. I’ve just put on a load of weight. So now I’m going back to whats best for me smaller portions and intermittent fasting.

I’m glad you talked about the quality of protein in our diet. Lots of people don’t buy grass fed or wild caught because it’s hella expensive! This became a signal to me that I would sacrifice quality over quantity, so I don’t eat meat everyday (which is a luxury for people in other parts of the world anyway). I eat it a few times per week, sometimes less. But when I do it is high quality.

I have gone to IVF Dr's and they all have told me diet has nothing to do with it. I didn't believe them, so here I am.

Im glad you mentioned fasting! I was doing 16:8 for 10 days and stopped because I heard it could hurt fertility. So now I’m playing it safe 12:12. Thanks.

What about if one has a luctose intolerance? How can one still have the dairy needed to help get the nutrients they need?

I’m 43 and turning 44 this month 🙈have been trying for my first baby, just made a tuna lunch..now I’m wondering is Tuna a complete no go for me to help conceive?

Dr. Marc, I loved this video. I do have a question. I'm type 2 diabetic; would any of the foods and/or methods you suggested be safe and healthy for me? Cause of my diabetes, I of course have to monitor my glucose. What foods do you know of that are type 2 diabetic friendly and good for boosting fertility? Thank you, Dr. Marc.

So what I heard was Sr. Sklar would like me to fast intermittently, eat grass fed meat then reward myself with full fat, good quality ice cream! I'm on it 😊

Thank you for sharing this video and confirming my opinion about full fat dairy. ☺ Actually, full (good)fat goodies always taste much better than the light/skinny ones, so it's an easy diet to follow.
