Cost about 50 bucks to take my family to McDonald’s which means we don’t go anymore which means we’re actually living a healthier life cooking at home. It’s a win-win.

Its like $15-20 for a fast food combo now, its ridiculous. Theres no reason to go anymore.

People complain about rising prices yet fail to boycott. Nothing will change until there is mass boycotting.

Prices too high. Quality too low. Employees too sketchy.

Yup! There is no reason to eat at a fast food restaurant when you can eat at a real restaurant for the same price.

Grocery store prices went up WAY more than 1.3% this year, and fast food prices went up WAY more than just 5%...

There is absolutely NO WAY the price of food at home has only risen 1% over the past year

Oh please. McDonald’s CEO is full of it. He made it clear he was raising prices and said “they can get away with it cause people will pay it.” Fool!

I've been questioning how fast food still exists when it's neither fast nor cheap anymore. It's just bad food

I got a sausage egg McMuffin for $9.79. My last stop ever at a McDonald's a large fry cost me $5.19, never again!

Now that fast food is just as expensive as normal restaurants the decision should be simple. If you want good food at a good price, fast food is not the way to go.

I love how there's a dollar menu but nothing costs $1 at McDonald's anymore. It's ridiculous.

Corporate greed. You have to be a fool and a sucker to pay these fast food prices

Mediocre food at gourmet prices, it really makes you wonder how some of these chains stay in business.

The CEO saying they are focusing on "affordability" is absolutely hilarious, i've never once seen prices going down once they went up. Every company used Covid to raise their price by 10-40% in the food industry be it fast food or grocery stores. That's how it is in Canada at least.

With all due respect, ... on what planet are grocery prices going down?
