Despite being a Bama grad, I really like Cole’s analysis. For a Barner, he seems to be very objective and spot on most of the time.

It's over. The dynasty is over and it's time to hang it up old man Saban. Alabama is washed, they're done for now. Hope you guys had fun while it lasted.

I thought Golding was a good dc until the Tennessee game. When he wouldn’t make a simple adjustment I’m not saying they would stop it completely, but you can’t let a sprinter fly down field without being impeded, and expect a safety to back peddle and twist. 1 time stopping them and Bama wins.

Prior to Pete Golding, Alabama never finished outside of the top 5 defensively. With Pete Golding as DC, Alabama never once finished top 5 defensively. Sorry but he was not a good DC.

Getting hard to understand Josh with his lips so firmly pressed to Saban’s cheeks this offseason.

Coach Golding is a Xs and Os expert. Even Coach Saban suggested that maybe he needed to simplify some of his schemes. He sucked in getting his players to consistently execute it. IE he wasnt a dicipline enforcer like Coach Pruitt and Coach Smart.

Georgia is a *passing* football team, first. I don’t care about what you designate their personnel to be, it’s actually irrelevant. They might as well have been wide outs compared to who they were lining up against.

9:06 is just demonstrably false.

UGA’s strength on offense was *EASILY* the pass game. Running the ball was UGA’a biggest weakness, by *A LOT*. They dominated because they passed all over you and play well above average defense. This is all born out in the EPA data.

*The game is regressing*

Based on literally what?
If anything it is going to go even further into the PA and RPO game and passing “50 times”. We’re only scratching the surface here

And the reason is, is because we have people like Cubelic who still romanticize running the ball and overvaluing defense. UGA didn’t play this way, and it showed, lol.

I'm sorry when I hear media members say Golding is a good DC I think it's all about maintaining a relationship with a coach for work purposes. Golding sucks, he destroyed the ILB position at Bama and he was always outclassed when he faced a competent or better OC.

So what you’re saying is Saban is looking to what Kirby has going on for success 😂 Go Dawgs and love 12 personnel

Anyone is a step up from Golding. BOB was too rigid in a pass heavy game plan (even with Bryce) for the college game

Edit: anyone that plays a one down linemen on 3&17 against a run only qb in jaden daniels may not know the best plays to call

This is a dumb question. He just hired one of the worst OC's in college football who doesn't actually understand football and you're asking if he nailed the new hires lol? No. He did a terrible job.

If my coach had to beg on ESPN multiple times over the past 10 years after losing 2 games to get into the playoffs, i'd blame the coach for the losses.
You know who i'm talking about of course.
You Bama fans sure give him the credit when he wins. Blaming the coordinators is like blaming a dog for peeing on your rug. He's a dog.
