Currently the Yaris Cross is hybrid only in the UK, which means all are powered by a 1.5l 3 cylinder petrol and a small 0.8 kwh lithium-ion battery pack (which can do about 1 mile on EV only range). The power output is a claimed 114bhp. Dimensions of the Yaris Cross Hybrid are 4,172 mm Length by 1,765 mm Width with a Height of 1,595 mm.

Anyone interested, you should be able to top 70mpg with mixed careful driving. I've averaged 72 over 50000 miles including a lot of motorway.

Toyota has lost any sense about interior space and practicality. Their later cars are ultra small inside and uncomfortable. Shame really as they still offer best hybrids
