You are the most amazing person explaining all the steps to tread this machine and to understand it’s function! Thanks for being so clear and specific! ❤️

One of the best explanation and videos showing how this works.

Thank you for this video. I just got a job as a seamstress at a local cleaners and the blind hem machine (a far, far older model from the same brand in your video!) has quickly become my nemesis. I would love to see an additional “troubleshooting” video showing the effects of tension too tight/too loose or the less/more wheel too “less” or too “more.” The reason I called the blind hem machine my nemesis is that with practice on my first few days, I learned to routinely produce good hems on basic dress pant material - but if the fabric is just the tiniest bit thicker or thinner, or the tiniest bit stretchy, everything just goes all wrong! I would love to learn how to adjust the machine to compensate for these problems rather than using my supervisor’s solution of just hemming “problem” pants by hand.

Thank you so much for showing how to thread an operate the blind stitcher. I’ve had mine for three years and only tried it twice because I really didn’t know what I was doing. Thanks again. 3:57

Just echoing everyone else- thank you for this clear, concise, well-paced, perfectly thought-out and delivered video. I just unboxed my machine and now I feel quite brave enough to set it up and try it out. I'm looking forward to checking out your other videos. BTW, you have a great voice for this, and your camera technique is excellent.

Those tic tac containers the largest ones make the greatest used needle bins. They’re also big enough to hold rotary blades and razor blades.

Ugh, if I did more tailoring of men’s clothes I would absolutely have a blind hemmer machine. These make it look so easy! I’ve gotten very good at using the blind stitch method on my domestic machine so that will have to work for now!

This instruction video is very for 90% of the video. Note: at 7:03 in the video you show how to change the needle, but you're using the wrong needle system LWX5T. The machine takes a LWX6T needle which has the flat side facing out, not to the back of the machine. By using the wrong needle it can cause damage to the machine, break expensive needles and not sew properly.
Although many machines take that needle, all the brands Tony, Rex, Reliable, Kobe, Mason CM-500 series take the system LWX6T, 29BL or LWX2T. These models were all copies of the brand Treasure BT500 by Nara Sewing Machine Industrial in Japan.

Omg that threading technique is so amazing!!! I have a very old industrial Colombia Union blind stitch machine in the table with a huge compressor, but I don't know exactly how to set it all up. I had to disassemble it to move it to my home and screwed. The manual online and a few videos like this are really helpful though. Hard to find and rare, but very helpful. Thank you!!

My blind hemmer has the flat side towards the front? Towards the back would have the needle facing the wrong direction

Video is very helpful. Just wondering what you recommend to oil the machine. I can’t find anything in the manual.

I don't own a machine like this (which I thought was a sewing machine until halfway in), yet I still watched the whole thing.
