How to set up SONOFF ZigBee 3 0 USB Dongle Plus in Home Assistant

preview_player
Показать описание
SONOFF ZigBee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus is a universal Zigbee USB stick that can be used as a universal ZigBee gateway in Home Assistant or other open-source platforms via ZHA or ZigBee2MQTT to locally control all your ZigBee sub-devices.

Note: If your dongle can't be auto-discovered, it may be because your version of Hass hasn't integrated this feature yet, you can follow the normal configuration steps.

My Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus was not recognized in Home Assistant as a Zigbee dongle but as a Z-Wave JS. The answer was to click "IGNORE" in the integrations section then go to Configuration → Devices & services → Add Integration → search for and install ZHA. This will recognize the USB port and finish the configuration.

If you're using HA on a Synology NAS running 6.x DSM, you must enable USB if not already done. First, shutdown your VM. Then right-click on the VM and choose "EDIT". In the "Others" tab, choose USB 3.0 for the "Virtual USB controller", and usb device choose "Cygnal integrated Products". Save that configuration, then start up your VM (It takes a few minutes before HA gets everything rolling again).

Hi
Nice video!
What "Radio Type" do you select for the Sonoff zigbee 3.0 dongle plus? Is it "ZNP = Texas Instruments Z-Stack ZNP protocol: CC253x, CC26x2, CC13x2
"?
What settings do you select for the serial port? Is it 115200 or 57600 and what is the "data flow control" set to...?
My Home Assistant unfortunately failed to connect the dongle...?

My Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus is not recognized at all in the current version of Home Assistant. It's plugged in and I see the UART tty on my Linux system (Manjaro), and Home Assistant is installed via the container.

I have add one as router with the router specified by the sonoff web. It seems to work, I could pair it and I can see it at Home Assistant ZHA. But I don't see any children nor any connection in the visualization. Is there something else that has to be done?

i'm running HA on an unraid VM.

When i plug in my zigbee stick and edit my vm, the usb stick shows up as Cygnal Integrated Products CP2102/CP2109 UART Bridge Controller (10c4:ea60). unfortunately, this is the exact same handle as my z-wave usb stick. When i ignore this and open ha and try to add ZHA as an integration, i get 3 options:
1.
/dev/ttyS0 - ttyS0, s/n: n/a
2. my z-wave usb stick
3. manually (ezsp, xbee, znp, z8gate, and deconz)

It wasn't recognized in HA so mike simpson's method doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions?
