Video is outdated, does not conform to Firmware the device has currently installed.
Turn off that darn music
Got 12 Sonoff-Devices with sensors in operation, no problem setting them. Today I tried to add 2x BASIC models but initial setup failed. I followed the instructions precisely and Wi-Fi was re-configured to 2.4GHz only mode but still no success. WTF is going on with this BASIC device? Apparently it ain't 'basic'!

Lousy! Absolutely lousy! No matter how many times I try, the new Sonoff device is not found. It times out. I've tried over and over with every Sonoff device I've purchased. Eventually, usually after hours and hours of following the instructions, it may magically connect. OR, I throw the device away and buy a new one. Then, the new one exhibits exactly the same problem. I try again and try again.
My router is always set in 2.4 mode. I seem to be able to connect the Sonoff devices to the router's WiFi, but no joy when trying to use the Setup process. Always "not found. Try again".
