I love how you said " Exercise to feel good!" I've been having trouble adjusting to my new living situation, my new work schedule, and have had A LOT of stressful situations arise; so I haven't been training like I was, or eating like I was. However, I'm trying to keep that reminded mindset of the "feel good high, " that a healthy lifestyle leaves you in. One day I will get settled into this new lifestyle and get a good routine going again. Until then I'm not gonna stop the positive self affirmations and coaching self talk, and lots and lots and lots of praying for the will and the spirit!!!

Just a friendly note of advice...
I have gotten a few female fitness or strength competitor clients over the past couple of years come into my clinic with complaints of anterior hip pain that worsens coming out of the bottom position of their squat. My clinical analysis indicates they all developed an iliopsoas trigger point in the lower part of the muscle where it inserts onto the femur, or this muscle and the pectineus muscle have hypertrophied/shortened enough that they compress on the underlying nerves when in the bottom of the squat position. I, and they, have determined that it is the weighted hip thrust exercise after doing it for a year, two years or longer that can be the main contributor to developing this problem. I would suggest a stretch or two for the lower psoas and pectineus done immediately following this exercise as it should be sufficient enough to prevent this from developing over the long term for those few people who may be prone to get this problem after many months of doing it and perhaps with high intensity. A lifestyle or job that demands prolonged sitting for many hours a day as in an office or driving environment can perhaps make one more susceptible when training this exercise. It is a decent exercise so I am not recommend in avoiding it in any way, but just mitigate the effects of repetitively loading those muscles in front of the hips while training the glutes.

I love the lighting in the gym you go to. It's always dark with some great bright glows! Feels more like a club than a gym.

3rd tip is sooo key, once you take the goal of wanting to look a certain way and start training for mental clarity...results results results !!! i saw it so much for myself, and it also encourages you to go to the gym more because your going for mental state, and also simple work outs, chefs kiss, this is the best video on gym advice ever.!

I think this is why I can never stick to doing exercises, I don't ever feel like I'm getting things done. I've really been trying to find something that gives me progress right then and there, like a physical hobby that builds muscle like gardening, landscaping, horse riding, etc.

You give the best advice! I'm pregnant and can't train hard but can't wait to get back to it. Your hair turned out gorgeous by the way!

I remember the 80s in which American women did everything possible to not have a big butt. I’m glad I’m still here to witness the opposite and I’m all here for it!! Lol btw. These exercises ain’t easy

Also another good benefit to think about with weightlifting is building strong bones. My mom has osteoporosis, if she had done weights she wouldn't be breaking her bones.

There are so many fitness influencers out there, but you are the best by far. Your body is incredible and I can’t wait to see the success in the future I’m working towards. Thank you!

Do you think you can do an update workout routine to build glutes if you don’t have access to a gym or limited? My gym only has machines and no free weights.

First time here on this channel. First thing I noticed is that you don’t yell and talk super fast and intensely. Thank you, goodness! I watch a lot of fitness influencers for educational and entertainment purposes. A lot of them yell.

I have been naturally blessed with a big butt 😅 but now that I’m 40, I can immediately see the difference when I don’t work out. Love the tips ❤
