Changing BIOS Mode from UEFI to Legacy

if you don't have legacy option try setting bios password disabling secure boot and fast boot before changing boot mode and then delete bios password

I just recently bought an acer aspire 3, it came with no windows so I purchased a windows 10 which came in a form of a USB, watched all videos on how to install windows and tried to change boot mode to legacy but in this PC it not giving me an option to change the boot mode . Please help

I do this, and sometimes when it boots in legacy mode the srcreen stays black and a horribly loud beep plays

I have a Spin1 and there's no such option. I'm about to crash it because I can't boot windows from a USB nor a DVD

I followed these instructions exactly as presented, multiple times, but upon reboot the BIOS is still in UEFI mode. I am currently unable to boot the system to USB or DVD.

Wait, wait - I had heard that an OS can only boot in the BIOS mode that it was installed in. If my Windows 10 was originally in UEFi mode, and I switch it to Legacy in my BIOS, would I mess up my system?!
