What I mostly like about HLL is that there is no real progression aside from some kits and skins you can unlock. Every game all players have the same gear and weaknesses a mere footsoldier has. There is no real way of getting an advantage over other players besides just getting better at it.

Having bots in a game is honestly a deal-breaker for me. I hate the feeling of schooting another player, only to find out it was Fritz the bot who just had to smell the flowers in no man's land

Enlisted feels more like a single player, medium/large scale battles with occasional weird players/bots. You are the commander of your bots and use them to cover areas while you cover others. You can also make them stay a few feet behind so that when you die, you immediately "spawn" right where you where but now you know where the enemy is.

5:30 "You just noticed you've finally unlocked that FG-42 after having given up trying 6 months ago" literally the most spot on statement you could have given.

Enlisted, hell let loose, post scriptum. All way fucking better than cod WW2, battlefield 5, and whatever the fuck vanguard even was. I'm just happy we finally have actual WW2 games.

One thing i think he missed out on was enlisteds campaigns. Enlisted has 6 total campaigns and each one is different. He only played normandy, which is a good starting campaing but the other 5 really show how good the game is. You have stalingrad for urban combat, tunisia for deserts, berlin for more open urban combat, moscow for more outdoors russians, and pacific is entirety its own vibe. And the best part is each campaign has an entire progression of its own for both axis and allies

Enlisted feels more like an arcade/ casual game and is fun to just hop on and chill out. HLL is fantastic when it comes to immersion, strategy, and teamwork, which I personally prefer more. Both games are really enjoyable though

You should have played and taken into account Enlisted's gunfighter mode, where there is no AI bots. Just players. It becomes a different game played that way.

Enlisted is a game you can hop onto for a couple of hours and have a genuinely good time just experiencing the battles you are dropped into. For that, I feel like Enlisted did above and beyond what I could’ve asked from a free game of its size.

Enlisted sound design is amazing. The voicelines too. Some German soldiers sound like they are on "medication"

What I like about enlisted is how fun and good the vehicle gameplay is. Like the hot box’s are accurate like you can shoot a gunner or driver in a open capartment of the vehicle

You can actually play in a tank with other people in Enlisted. Me and a friend will sometimes hop in the same tank together and just go crazy. It's a lot of fun and definitely gives enlisted a point in that aspect because you could have several people commanding the same tank (if you have friends) just like in HLL

I like how in enlisted if there's no cover you can just get out your shovel and dig a hole. Not sure if HLL is like that or not

this video basically shows that enlisted was pretty much made for me
the huge battles with players and bots that you can command
great vehicle combat including aviation
destructible environments

I find the bots in enlisted have their own charm knowing that they are apart of a player controlled squad who can switch to any of its members at any time or if the player dies and there's bots left in the squad.

One thing I wish was mentioned about enlisted is that there are multiple fronts and factions. For example Normandy, Africa, Stalingrad, Berlin and the pacific

For me I like hell let loose better cause of the realism. But on the other hand I also like enlisted because of the extra content it provides and more maps. It just depends basically on your personal preference.

I don't know if it's still there but I remember there used to be a lone fighters mode that was really fun and had no bots

I like how bombs leave creators and you can destroy buildings but hell let losse actually feels like you in a real war that you need to communicate with your teammates

For a free to play game enlisted is pretty good but there's some typical free to play jank that comes along with that. The UI takes a while to get used to, it's very convoluted but like you said once you get a feel for it the progression is pretty good. My biggest gripe is that sometimes my tank will get stopped at full speed by a bush or some small piece of rubble on the ground which has got me killed several times while attempting to flank another tank or evade AT soldiers. The bots are also borderline useless and will just stand there while enemy soldiers pour into a room and massacre them. You can always make them hold position behind cover somewhere out of the way and switch between them as necessary but if you need bodies on an objective they will probably all die very fast.
