Been playing both since the beginning. I knew about HLL when they were backing the game on kickstarter. When the game was finally released I played a lot of it. That is until I have kids. People just don’t realize how much time they take up in your day. HLL was and still is a fun game, but it requires time and no distractions to have a fun experience. You need to be constantly talking to people on the mic for good communication and the matches can be long. That’s why when I heard about enlisted I jumped on it during CBT and been here ever since. I can now jump in 1-3 games and that might take up 1 hour or a little more of time. Just enough to get a gaming session in, before attention needs to be back with the family. That’s pretty much it concerning the two games. Enlisted is more pick up and play friendly.

He’ll let loose is more accurate but it is a little slow and enlisted is very chaotic and fast paced

Having played both of these games since they first released I personally wouldn't consider "replacing" or switching one for another, they are both world war 2 fps games yes, but otherwise very different in many ways. Both games are good in their own ways though I generally prefer the faster pace of Enlisted unless I have friends to play with on Hell Let Loose.

2:59 Just a little story from enlisted: You can actually have teamwork tanks in Enlisted. One time I was playing in a squad with 2 of my friends, one guy got hit bad and lost his gunner and driver. we both hopped in and with voicechat were directing eachother, it felt alot like HLL and was really fun :)

HLL is just so amazing and I have so much fun playing it. It's a hard game for sure. I'm still new and wish I had more time to play but I don't and I watch videos Alot about it to continue to learn about the game. Thanks for your time.

I played HLL on a free weekend and I honestly hated it. Because what you described is very true.
That is, the maps are far too large so you run for what feels like hours and then, because the experienced players have microscopes glued onto their monitors with their pixel hunting skills.. you just get one tapped. Rinse and repeat. There's no way for new players to actually get better in HLL since they just get seal clubbed by pixel hunters. While Enlisted has its problems (explosive spam x10, 000 being one of them) it's a very accessible game despite still having a learning curve (aim, weapon sway, situational awareness.)
What I love most about Enlisted is that I don't have to talk to anyone. I can just put music on and go to town with my P-47 and there's action 90% of the time.

Very different games. Enlisted is like a pack of instant noodles, fancy taste, quick to jump in, can provide more if you invest time it but shouldnt be your main nutrient. Still fancy to eat sometimes.
HLL is more like a home brewed moonshine not for everyone but you will like it if you look for something like Red Orchestra experience

I tried HLL before I tried E. While HLL has better graphics and gunplay compared to E, HLL requires a lot of work is not something you learn overnight. E was far more easy to pick up and also doesn't consume a lot of time when it comes to battles

HLL maps are so big even 100 vs 100 would fit there

I've been playing enlisted since the beginning of open beta on a free account, never spent any money and I've just now got the M1 Thompson on Normandy campaign only and I have never played any other campaign only allies, Normandy. It's really absurd but it's safe to say that I still have some progress left to do lmao

My complaint with enlisted is i love japanese weapons and i love difficulty. My friends love playing stalingrad as the Germans. I wish i could play a game with my japanese equipment with my friends, and not feel like the game has become less challenging

Darkest hour 44-45 is the most satisfying wwii games, it’s free to try if you own Red Orchestra Ostfront.

Enlisted is an online developmenting project based on free to play, so maybe we can expect it has longer periods of life or content development in the future like warthunder. WW2 > cold war > modern warfare. It is possible since they are sharing the same variety of 3D vehicles and building models from another game. We just dont know how the game will be polished later after the final release or several years later. I enjoyed both games.

Enlisted is like a nice training game before hell let loose, at least the game mode I was playing was like Hell let loose and I didn't even know, it's called Winter war but it would be like hell let loose and you would need put Spawn points down like you need to as a officer to put downs op's.

i enjoy the more arcadey enlisted feel. I had hell let loose but i ended up refunding it, its a great game, but i prefer Enlisted. May consider buying hll again.

one of the things I hate about Enlisted is that every class can use explosive packs an AT explosive should only be limited to the Anti-tank classes

when i came to enlisted i thought it gonna have great balance between HLL and arcade BF style gameplay, but it turns out enlisted is slightly more towards battlefield unfortunately. I really hope they gonna turn this game to the opposite direction, if the playable area and objectives in enlisted were bigger twice it would be just great, not to slow and not to fast and every class would have their room for shine.
