How to play silent hill 2 director`s cut on modern systems (Windows 7.8.10)

Here is a pretty straight forward tutorial on how to run silent hill 2 directors cut on modern systems, the game is not that graphically demanding so it runs pretty much 100 percent good.

Update: This fix is no longer recommended, I highly recommend you download SH2: Enhanced edition, it's overall a better fix than this one.

I notice alot of you have mentioned my very low microphone quality and I highly apologize for that, if you can't hear what I'm saying just turn on the automatic Closed Captioning. I did check it and it's actually accurate to what I'm saying.

I also notice alot of you are having trouble running the game in general, be sure that you have installed the game correctly. If it says missing files try to uninstall the game and reinstall it, but if that doesn't work, Google is your friend. I no longer have this game and have switched to playing it on the Original Xbox as it's the same as the Pc version and is way more reliable than this one. But once I can get this version again, I will make an updated tutorial with the new recommended fix.

Also, DO NOT ASK FOR LINKS OR WHERE TO DOWNLOAD THIS GAME. I will not accept anymore comments like this, any further comments of this sort will be deleted. If you want the game, either buy it or look it up on Google yourself.
