During pandemic I decided to go for Sonos ecosystem in my living room. While I don’t regret it (love the design and fully wireless), I did have initial connection issues which was later solved via firmware. What I think Sonos is missing is true atmos up firing speakers. Those interested to move to Sonos make sure to understand your use case and room configuration. This is not a cheap ecosystem.

I had the beam 2 and that’s it. It was pretty bad. I got the sub mini and it completely changed everything. It was like switching from a 60hz to 144hz monitor

Great video! What about the Arc with 2x Play 1 SL? I’m thinking if I should add the sub mini or the sub gen 3 to that setup? I don’t like the glossy finish on the gen 3 sub, but I’m afraid I’ll miss some of that oomph with the mini…

Hi, thanks for the great review. Just wondering, I started with 2 sonos 3s and then added the PlayBar, would the sub mini work well with these? The system is located in a small family room and apart from tv I like playing music.
