My favorite Japanese Gameshow is "run for money".
It's called "tousouchu" in japanese. It's also available on Netflix.

Japanese game shows are just as goofy and weird as the TV commercials that are aired, but they both have some kind of charm and fun to them. Takeshi's Castle is one of the primary examples of a perfect Japanese game shows.
