(5:40) @FTD It's funny that you picked this verse (starting with "Then..."), but for some reason you forgot to show the verse right before it.
Let me show the audience the full sequence:
"He placed on the earth firm mountains, standing high, showered His blessings upon it, and ordained its means of sustenance - totaling four Days exactly - for all who ask." (Q41;10)
"Then He turned towards the heaven when it was smoke, saying to it and to the earth, ‘Submit, willingly or unwillingly.’ They both responded, ‘We submit willingly.’" (Q41;11)
Notice the mountains were placed on the earth when the heaven aka universe was still smoke. As far as I know the universe began billions of years before the earth formed. Also it wasn't smoke. That's wrong. Science says it was energy and then hydrogen, deuterium, helium and lithium formed. All heavier elements were formed in stars much later. In order for something to be smoke, there must be carbon and oxygen. But those elements weren't there at the start.
