We moved as soon as the shortage hit. We thought the city was just weird for not having literally any siracha, even in specialty shops

As a Mexican, I am hoarding 62 bottles of Sriracha right now.

I did not know the shortage was still going on. My husband purchased 4 3 packs. About three months ago they’re still in my cupboard. The stuff is too hot for me. Although I do like adding a little bit to my soup! If anyone is desperate, for some let me know.😊

I recommend Underwood Ranches Sriracha. They used to grow all the peppers for Huy Fong Foods now makes their own Sriracha and it’s really good.

This has been going on for a few years now, it's always in the store. Good reason to raise the price.

See the funny thing is, My grandma(She's Korean) heard from a freind of hers that they were completely going out of business. So being her wonderful self, she bought a whole store shipment of Sriracha some how. So safe to say my family is good on Sriracha for awhile.

Also a tip: make sure to check your local East Asian / south East asian supermarket. Vietnamese, Korean, any related to what I said. You can get it for a price of around $7

The most important thing is to not buy scalper's sauces for 3 reasons, 1 they charge ridiculous amounts, even if you miss it dont pay 20 or 30 bucks for sauce much less 100 dollars.
2 if you buy at raised prices, hoy fong will notice and start hiking the price when they recover and they will recover considering demand is so high and then youll have no choice but to pay that much for sauce every time you want some.
3 Scalpers are trash and if you wait them out they'll sell at a loss when they get desperate to get rid of it, and everybody hates scalpers.
Don't be a coward, just look around your grocery stores you'll be surprised how often you'll get lucky

What you could do is make your own sriracha, plentiful of restaurants across malaysia here or my favourite youtube restaurant Fallow in London havd their own kinds of sriracha hence if i remember correctly, you simply blend the chillies within your own mixture of ingredient with the main components of Vinegar and The root of Kaffir lime.l and then leave it on room temp on a jar for 2 days, this is just my technique when i make any hot sauce. Sriracha don't always ferment.

Worst part is that this was happening at the time of me seeing this exact sauce in the shop but instead bought a knock-off instead. Had sriracha before, knock-off is better tbh

Nah, first thing is to check the fridge and see the completely filled Sriracha thing
