Note that you if you happen to have I2C devices with I2C address 0x70, you will need to short one of the Addr pins on the TCA9548 breakout to Vin in order to make it not conflict. Given that you can have 0x70 thru 0x77, just find one that's free and you're good to go! Don’t see anything labeled addr?

Love the I2C Expander! I wish there was something like that concept but for large amounts of digital pins. The complexity of a circuit required to drive a 100 LED bar display(ok, maybe 5 or 6 100 LED bars) with shift registers makes them impractical, but would look very cool in my PC gaming cockpit projects.

Hey, I found in TI datasheet that the chip "allows voltage-level translation between 1.8-V,
2.5-V, 3.3-V, and 5-V buses"
will it work with different Vcc's or only that it supports all types of Vcc's 1.8-5? i have both options of I2C devices 5V Vcc and3.3V Vcc. can i use this device without logic level converter?

With the I2C expander, does it switch to the port that has the same number as the decimal value of the byte that gets sent to it? Sorry if that question is sort of stupid...
