I just turned 50 years old! If I could go back and meet myself in my 20's or 30's these are the good money habits and financial advice I would give him. I made A LOT of money mistakes in my younger years, and if I could change even a few my financial health would have been far better many years ago.

All you said here is so true! I'm in my late 40s and luckily, I always put away money from my paycheck for saving and investing. I came to USA in my early 20s and lost some years due to learning English, and getting college degree. So I lost some of those years because I haven't worked and couldn't put any money away for investing. However, as an immigrant, I was not used to American consumption and never got used to spending money like there is no tomorrow.

I'm in my mid forties, great advice. I don't even own a home yet though I wish I knew what I know now 20 years ago.
