For number 9, the answer should be:

xyy" + x (y')^2 - yy' = 0

I just forgot to change the sign when I factored -a^2 x. Thanks!

Super helpful! I also noticed that it is easier in no.7 to just multiply the negative sign in the problem (x - (x- y'/y'')^2 in order to simply cancel the variable x which will have a similar result!

I found ur Videos yesterday and it is the best day for my Engineering Mathematics. In this Video if you would have made a figure for every question especially Parabolas and circles that would hav been helpful. But Still Thank you.

The contents of your channel are very informative. Watching your videos is a great way for STEM and Engineering students learn better, especially for topics that are not clear to them. I will definitely recommend your channel to STEM students in our school. Keep it up, sir!

Concern po ako in number 2, can you just divide the (y')^3 to (y')^2 since it is in the same degree? In executing that, it will give you xy''-2y'=0 as a final answer. Also I don't get where the denominator went when you cross multiplied it. Did you just multiplied it to zero sir?

sir i have a question. in number 3 the equation is y =mx + b but since the m = b then y = mx+ m now, my question is there are two arbitrary constant right? but you only just differentiate it once is it because as long as the constant are equal then it means that it is only counted as one constant? is that why you only derive it once?

Hi sir just want to clarify, I noticed in number 9 at 40:48 you factored the

-a^2 x in the equation -a^2 xyy'' -a^2 x(y')^2 +a^2 yy' = 0

but shouldn't the answer be like this:

**-a^2 x [yy'' + (y')^2] + a^2 yy' = 0** ?

In the video, the answer you wrote was

-a^2 x [yy'' - (y')^2] + a^2 yy' = 0

sa number 1 po, hindi po ba dapat x^2 = 4ay? given V(0, 0) and opens upward or downward since nasa y-axis ang foci niya we'll get (x-0)^2 = 4a(y-k) ---> x^2 = 4ay ... please do correct me if i'm wrong.

Question: how do you graph these equations? Like in the first example how do you plot that?
