Wish you added “to lose weight”
Or “decrease calorie consumption.” There is nothing wrong with eating regular peanut butter- I choose the ones without sugar or additional oil added, but everything in moderation! Plus some people are eating to bulk or need the calories present in regular pb. Every body is different!

Just to let everyone know that it’s perfectly fine to not eat the “healthiest” option all the time. If you enjoy peanut butter then by all means have it. Life should not be measured in macros or calories xx

That powder probably cost 3 times the amount as the other so I’m good lol

Calories aren’t the enemy. Eat anything you want in moderation it’s not that hard.

It's not the fat you gotta watch out for but the Sugar content. Fat is healthy, trans fat (meant Saturated fats my bad) is unhealthy. Complex carbs (Multigrain and Brown rice) are good for you, simple carbs (simple sugars) are not. It all really depends on your health and lifestyle. Also Calorie counting can mess with people so if you go over a bit, you are fine. Don't panic or get down about it.

Quick Edit: A lot of people are making good points in this thread so if you have a question from what was posted, go ahead and look at the comments to see if it's answered before commenting please

So, eat the “healthy” synthetic peanut butter, not the “unhealthy” natural peanut butter. Makes perfect sense.

Love these comments about enjoying what you’d like in moderation and to not drive yourself nuts about buying the “better” options. That’s healthy living!

Peanut butter is a great food BECAUSE it's so calorie dense- 2 tablespoons on a waffle or slice of toast and you'll keep chugging along til lunch. 2 tablespoons of PB powder doesn't have near the same effect. All natural is better and avoid palm oil if you can, but trying to reduce calories isn't always a good goal.

Calories aren't everything, ingredients are. The hydrogenated oils and sugar in Skippy are dangerous to health.
Organic peanut butter (organic roasted peanuts and salt) contains the same amount of calories and fat as Skippy but is far healthier.

this is an incredibly great way to get people into disordered eating habits, congratulations!!

2 tablespoons of peanut butter is a lot, measure it out and you’ll see how much it really is. skippy has preservatives in it that make it bad for you, (and that has nothing to do with the calories), but if they prefer skippy who cares? 190 calories for a snack or a meal is not going to hurt you. same thing goes for fat. but you know what will? viewing certain foods as bad or good. thinking you can’t eat something because it has too many calories or fat in it. there’s so many ways to promote a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle without turning food into the villain.

It’s not about fat, it’s the sugar content

Okay but adding milk adds calories and if you like it sweeter like a pre made peanut butter you have to add sugar... Which is also calories.

We need to recognize the privilege of being able to afford what's more often than not extremely expensive alternatives. Most of us can't actually maintain a perfect lifestyle physically, mentally and financially 👌🏻

That's why I always keep PB around, it's absurdly calorie dense and filling, perfect for when I need a small boost.
A spoonful on a hike, or when you don't have time for a real breakfast before work, keeps me satisfied until lunch.

The calories and fat is literally the whole point of peanut butter.

Friendly reminder that in order to get the SAME amount of reconstituted powdered peanut butter you need to double that amount. Also the fats in peanut butter are heart healthy. Fats and calories are not the enemy. Added sugar is what’s bad for you in the processed stuff like jiffy.
So in short YES we can and should be eating peanut butter. You would be surprised at the amount of women that miss out on heart healthy fats because all their lives they have been told fat is the enemy.
Eat the things you like in moderation. If the product tastes like trash, it won’t matter how “healthy” it is for you. Because it will just rot in the back of your pantry.

Most people eat peanut butter because it’s high calorie. If you’re in a rush it’s a quick thing to eat and it can keep you going longer.

As long as you have a calorie deficit you will be fine. I’ve eaten fast food a couple times a week and still put off weight

Love your videos, but that powder is stupid expensive. My mother tried using it for keto and the quality does not match the price. Honestly it is not as hard as many think to make your own peanut butter.
