With things like EFP, and Gamma. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. had obviously proven to have one of the most devout, and talented fanbases out of any series on the planet. More than F:NV even. STALKER mods are.. something else, and has given the series a fk'n renascence. I love it. It's one of the more beautiful things I've been a part of.
