Coming from long-time Ultegra mech I found the SRAM shifting easy to adapt to, and now I prefer it. Smaller cog to the right, bigger cog to the left. I don't do double-tap because I have it set up in the App to shift chainrings automatically.

When I change from the big to the small chain ring or small to the big, I always change the cassette gear as well to minimise the gear ratio difference. Can't do that with SRAM. This idea would be fine on a 1x setup. So it's a no from me.

hi, because if you prevent the two levers at the same time, the derailleur does not make the transition from the small chainring to the larger one and vice versa? what could be the problem?

How easy/hard is it to go from small ring in the front to big ring while also going down a few gears in the back to make the ratio a less spikey transition. I currently have shimano ultegra and notice when I wanna swap the front ring I end up pushing both paddles in for a smoother jump. Is something like this possible? (like when you change the front ring then back ring auto adjusts ~2 gears)
