can you make a backwards version that animates the other end like lets say you want it to dissolve over time for example

it reveals forward in the front but the back disappears overtime as well basically ?

i might be stupid but i cant get the rectangle tool even when i click and hold on it

the issue with this approach is that it is not perfectly centered, and I cannot find a solution like that for premiere pro
