Just gonna skip over the fact that they've been exploring vast valleys, lakes& mountain ranges for the last 70 years but we see nothing? There's probably so much more out there than we're told.

Its great how globes show Antarctica as a small island and google maps make it compareable in size to all other continents combined.

I highly commend those who put this together. It took a lot of work. You had to find all the video, get up a script, and edit. This took a lot of work. My hat goes off to you.

These were not the first scientific missions, and it wasn't the first time nations of the world united for science either, before the IGY there were two International Polar Years plus many many individual scientific missions/expeditions.
