I am Russian, and one day I flew to Chicago to run a marathon (which is one of the 6 main marathons in the world), and in the evening of the same day I went to some cafe for dinner. A group of young Americans was sitting at a nearby table, and the girl recounted the content of this video to her friends, laughing and trying to imitate a Russian accent. I involuntarily heard this, and also began to smile and look sideways at them. One guy noticed a marathon jacket on me and asked if I ran today and where I came from. I said yes, I did. And by the way, I'm Russian, but I don't seem to be very scary) We laughed, talked a little) Nice guys.
In general, people of any nationality are usually normal, if you do not look at them through the prism of stereotypes.

Russians are the best. All my гussian friends are very sincere people, ready to help with any problem at any moment of the day or night. There are a lot of stereotypes about russians, but in fact, russians are very free. They are free from many of the problems of the western layman and this is what I personally really like about them. Well as a Russian, i can clearly say no one really messes with me. I don't have an accent but people generally don't fuck with me. I came to the US when i was 8 though, from Penza (near Moscow) if they do fuck with me when they find out im Russian things always change. It's true were abit nuts my dad used to tell me back when in middle school "You no fight you not my son" when ever bullies messed with me.
