"you don't have a Russian accent, but in this movie, you have a Russian accent."

He’s Russian speaking to other Russians in Russia, so the writers decided him to speak English?! The man’s got a point…

Most actors can't even learn a few lines of another language these days. Respect to him for mentioning something few people care about

-I want to hear your "logic”.
-A Russian should speak Russian.
-Nope!

He sounds so in pain at the beginning when he's saying "It doesn't make any sense" Like he's fought hundreds of people on this subject

He is right - it's either he has to speak Russian with subtitles or speak English with no accent.

What's even weirder is he's speaking fluent English in the beginning when they're living in America, but then switches to the Russian accent later down the line

"it makes no sense"
"Well, it make sen-"

I think Inglourious Basterds is a great example of a movie where everyone speaks their own language. It just makes it more genuin in my opinion. Also, you're missing out on so many awesome foreign movies if you're put off by subtitles. Though for me it's easier to cope with subtitles since English spoken movies are also foreign to me, so I'm already very much used to it.

I love how black widow can have a Russian accent in one scene and complete fluent English in another
