I've been using those three products for several years. An old tooth brush works great when cleaning the blade. I use it on my router bits as well. The odor of the rust remover is pretty strong as you indicated but it works.

I just got a new to me used powermatic 10 inch saw and I cleaned it up with what I had. Now I can order this and see how much better it can get. Thank you for sharing.

I use paste wax on my table saw, but it's nice to know that more specific products exist for this. Thanks for sharing!

I discovered the Boeshield lubricant and rust remover at the beginning of the summer. I'm in southeast GA and our humidity is unparalleled. I have to reapply it every couple months, or if i see a little rust spot start to pop up I'll use the rust remover to knock it out. I would advise you to go ahead and buy a larger can of the T-9 because it goes fast. Good luck with it and thanks for your enthusiasm and it coming!

I use the CMT orange bit and blade cleaner also use Simple green, but the purple one as its less harsh on coatings, put the blade in a 5 gal bucket lid, pour enough Simple green to cover, let it sit for 10-15, scrub with a fine brass brush.

Love the videos man, I’m a Canadian planning on starting wood working as a hobby. It’s nice to watch your videos and get instruction with a dose of humour that’s much needed in this pandemic. Cheers 🍻

I use the top of a home depot bucket and some similar blade and bit cleaner and and old tooth brush. Very fast and easy. (CMT Formula 2050 Blade and Bit Cleaner)

Brother Mat first thing is it's so great to see you strong in your walk with the Lord 🙏 and share it with us. Love your videos. A little tip use a stiff fiber type brush to clean your blades on the top of a bucket lid the results are awesome. Loved your wooden malet build and yes the Lord was at work there. Bostic top coat is a great product but very expensive T-9 is wonderful as well. Best wishes to you and your family from Alaska at grandpa's wood wood shop

I love Boeshield T-9. It also works great on vehicles/boats on bits you want lubricated but not greasy to collect grime.

Great videos. I have the same model saw with the same rust issue. I will certainly give the Boeshield a try. I also use a CMT 251.042.10 ITK blade 1FTB+2ATB. Unbelievable noise and vibration reduction.

I will tell you the T9 works awesome! I have a CNC that I run flood coolant on and I have tried everything to keep my vise and tooling plate from rusting and nothing worked until I used the T9. I have been using that stuff called Awesome to clean my blades and it works great, but I let my blades soak for about 30 minutes in a bucket lid of solution and there no scrubbing. All my tools with metal or cast iron surfaces have been getting that T9 for the last couple years.

I have a bad habit of putting my hands down on my cast iron tables, especially in the summer, and end up with rust from it. Going to have to give this stuff a try.

So I just began woodworking with limited tools. Two drills, and a jigsaw. I kindly wanted to ask if maybe you can put together a video on a build just using those power tools? I know it's a challenge and I'm making due with what I have. I'm just curious to see what you might be able to cook up? Excited to see if you're up for the challenge. I've found a lot of informative woodworking channels on here. But by far your channel might be one of the most authentic and inspiring. Keep up the great work and God bless.

I use a bucket lid or frisbee under the blade when I'm cleaning it. I gave always used Simple Green and a stiff nylon brush. But I'm going to give this stuff a go next time.
Thank you for the recommendation. Happy Thanksgiving!

I just watched a Stumpy Nubs video on blade cleaning and he used a different cleaner but had a couple more great tips for blade cleaning. First was he used the lid of a 5 gallon bucket to put the blade in and spray it with cleaner and let it soak, was pretty much perfect size. The other was using a nylon stiff brush. I bet if you adopted those two tricks you'd get that last bit of resin just a bit easier.... makes me think I should possibly clean my blade now that i've seen two videos on it in two days, the universe is trying to tell me something ;)
