'Media pending' always happens at the start of my Rendering in to out procedure. This helped solve the issue without hesitation, Cheers

For those who didn't have this tip work for them, this may be due to an incompatibility issue, like trying to import a file from another editing software that was saved in a particular way.

For that, I simply opened the MPEG-4 file in Quicktime, re-saved the video within Quicktime, then found that it can be viewed in Adobe Premiere.

Hope this helps.

It's Dec of 2018 and I sometimes see little flashes of the "Media Pending" error. I tried this on the clip I see the flash on, and it fixed it! Thanks!

After I switched my rendering codec from I-Frame to ProRes, the "Media Pending" blips stopped burning in on the render. Seems to have fixed it for me. Still, how does this bug even exist? It's 2018!

Didn't work for me... Just removed my cracked 2017 version and bought adobe for a year, ($270) and it won't even let me click any buttons or play a video. It just crashes whenever I do something. This is such a scam.
