I Built the Smallest AMD PC! (eGPU + Ryzen 9)

*Emailed GEEKOM about NVMe to PCIe adaptor not working with AMD/Nvidia eGPUs as well as A/E to PCIe slot getting stuck at 1.1 low speed.

MY TESTS SO FAR:
1) eGPU on NVMe slot does not boot properly with AMD/Nvidia cards.
2) AMD eGPU works on A/E (WiFi) slot (got over 90 FPS with RX 7600 on CP2077, with caveat detailed below).
3) For (2), PCIe speed never goes back up and gets stuck at 1.1 after restarting the PC from first/fresh AMD driver install.
4) For (3), I've tried disabling iGPU, installed older AMD drivers from late 2023, tried to set various GPU parameters from regedit, downgraded to Windows 10, and tried Ubuntu with various Grub/bootup parameters changed... No luck.
5) RTX 4060 never worked on the A/E slot (whereas RX 6750 XT and RX 7600 worked).

fixing the stucked PCI Express 1x 1.1. needs some BIOS Modding, it might get too much complicated but doing it step by step and properly will get you to success, wish you good luck

When it comes to your issue with the PCIE speed decrease, could it possibly be a result of you trying to run the GPU off of what is supposed to be the wifi PCIE port? I'm not super knowledgeable when it comes to EGPU usage, but that's my first thought.
