I was able to start our Lexus NX300H by following your instructions. Thank you very much for your video!!! We didn't know it has a remote start because there is no remote start button.

You don't hold it for 10 seconds. As soon as the lights start flashing, let go of the button. The lights flashing are letting you know its initiated and you can release the button.

Thanks for the remote start video. We currently have a Toyota Avalon with remote start that we absolutely never use because of the limited range and the "stop the motor when you open the door" feature. We also have a Nissan Altima with remote start that we always use because of it's longer range and the "keep the motor running even when you open the door" feature. I mean really ... when would you ever want to remote start your car within 30-ft ... only to stop it when you arrive at the car and open the door? Probably only when it's parked in your garage. How about when you are walking to your car in 100-plus degrees weather across a parking lot ... which is the most common scenario. This could be a deal breaker in my next car selection.

I have the 2016 es 350 and it certainly doesn’t start up when I tried this, I guess I have the cheapest model they made for that year, oh well
