I've owned my 2014 Lexus for 4 years and never knew I could do this. I was getting high, looked over, and saw a little "Remote Starter" sticker on my driver window and was like, 😅💪🏾💪🏾🤣🤣🤣

But why the engine doesn't stay on?? It shuts off and i have to start it again...when i open the door i understand because of stealing reasons but still whats the point of remotely starting the car if it will shut down

Today I had to get a jump start for my 1999 Lexus GS300. Using a power pack the hooked it up to the battery and with no one in the car, no key in the ignition, the car attempted to start itself. I got in I put the key in to run (not start) and the car ran for a few seconds, quit, then tried again. did this several times, then just charged as normal, without 'it' turning over the starter. then it did it again.
Weird. I have had to jump-start my Lexus before, and it was a normal affair. This is a real head-scratcher, and only can wonder, does my 99 have a remote start option I don't know about?

Hello, i got lexus gsf 2016 and i did these step but when i press the unlock button car it will close. Any idea why?

I just bought a 2015 Lexus LS 460 and I don't see any feature for remote start and this step didn't work either, that's sad a long time ago I had a 2005 Cadillac STS that had remote start as standard

The ugly truth is, it shuts off when unlocking and open doors. BAD PROGRAMMING! This could’ve been fixed easily with other safety precaution not that specifically. Car shouts off every time I get in and start it again is a bad idea to even use the remote start, not only getting it installed if not equipped!
