I saw Bigfoot! I was coming up the path from the beach and he ran along the edge of the river to the right off screen! I thought I was seeing things lol glad to know it's an easter egg and I'm not losing it from so many hours of sdv.

Bigfoot was a surprise, but "All grass is equal, but some grass is more equal than others" had me chuckling. If no one has named their Meadowlands farm "Animal Farm, " I bet someone will now.

@7:51 It's easy to tell what you still need for the Museum: If you mouse over the item, it will say "Gunther can tell you about this if you donate it to the museum." If it gives you an actual item description then that means you did already donate that item. The collections tab, however, DOES let you more easily count how many items you've donated so you know how close you are to getting the sewer key. Just count the number of lit icons in the minerals and artifacts tab.

I've been running a fishing based farm on the beach farm and the legendary fish ponds are great. They make thousands of gold a day. They will make large sums of Roe every couple days, they average about 5 a day. I've had to add a couple dozen preserve jars to my barn to handle all the Roe.

I wasn’t sure if anyone has said it yet but I clicked on the concerned ape starting screen and green rain appeared and he winked. Not sure what I did except clicked on it. Have not been able to replicate it.

I'm doing the 999 stack challenge. No other reason to play after perfection, yet I still want to continue on my beloved farm, so this challenge fits in with that. I am so happy about the legendary ponds as with out it, the roe would be pretty much impossible. I won't be worrying about the things mostly impossible like 999 of each legendary as I'm sure I'll be ready to end it way before I could ever get those, but I'm very happy about the roe that will now be possible.

I didn't know items floated for a brief period. That helps a LOT. I have always hated losing any item, but the *quickness* that items vanished into the water was always infuriating. I'm glad that we have a chance to catch them.

Krobus portrait was 1.6.3, the lost crow is almost certainly just for accidentally trashing / exploding unique items rather than stuff lost in mines, I'm shocked people actually use thorns ring over just glowstone rings, and reducing the museum collection update to "it now tracks museum" instead of specifically noting that "it tracks museum instead of simply obtaining the item"; I'd argue that since you'd read the 'gunther can tell you more' text this is actually not that useful of a charge, it merely makes it consistent. anyway nice video, and I'm gonna do some bigfoot spoiling.

The character's sprite name is asldkfjsquaskutanfsldk, and they can show up in a couple of different spots. First, in the backwoods. If you walk over specific tiles between 7:20 and 8:10 pm as the only player in the location on a sunny day after spring 3rd and pass a 2.5% check they will show up and add a flag. After this, theres only a .025% chance you get to see bigfoot there again. After seeing bigfoot in the backwoods, though, 2% of days will have footprints in the backwoods and 3% of days will have footprints in the forest. The days that they show up are the same for every player. Note that it would differ between switch / pc, and it would differ between legacy rng and new rng. I don't have the tools rn to pull up what days they would show up.
In addition, each day has a specific time that bigfoot will show up in the forest. There's two places they can show up, with the choice of which one being made randomly (but same on every save for that day) and similarly the times are consistent. In this case it's between 7:20pm and 2am. Similarly each day has a specific time bigfoot shows up in town, and in the secret woods, and in the backwoods (though this one is after midnight). So the bigfoot feet are the ones you really need to hunt for.

I think that's everything about bigfoot; at least, for that specific sprite. There might be more sprites! I should run a dif between 1.6.8 and 1.6.9 ...

Ohh, that's what it was! I saw Bigfoot in the path between the farm and the mountains one night and I got super scared. I also saw a big old opossum screeching at me in the Bus Stop area. Glad they're not monsters I have to fight lol.
