How to Make Baking Powder: Baking Quick Tip by Cookies Cupcakes and Cardio

Here's a quick way to make a baking powder substitution, for those times you run out of baking powder and don't feel like running to the store.

Here are the ingredients you'll need:
- 1/4 teaspoon corn starch
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
This make 1 teaspoon of baking powder.

For what it's worth Cornflour is what Cornstarch is called in Aus (prolly other places too). Strangely enough you can get 'wheaten cornflour' which is made from wheat (!!) and ordinary cornflour which is more descriptive as it's actually made from corn.
Ah the fun of speaking the same lingo, but not really. ;-)
