Why I DUMPED Namecheap Private Email Hosting | Switching to G Suite

After years of loyal use, I dumped Namecheap Private Email hosting and switched to G Suite. Here's why.

The main problem with namecheap email is your email goes to spam. Also, their jellyfish ai misses a lot of spam.

*UPDATE:* Namecheap has now added app-specific passwords to Private Email Hosting. This improves security a fair bit, and while it is still arguably less secure than 2FA offered by proprietary mail protocols from Google and Microsoft, Namecheap is now in line with FastMail and other IMAP/SMTP email hosting with having the most secure solution you can get on IMAP.

I'm looking to switch in the opposite direction. I've had google hosting my domain email since the beta of Google Apps for you Domain. Participation in that program was supposed to mean the service would be free forever. Well Google and I apparently have different definitions of the word forever because starting in July it won't be free anymore. Unfortunately because of the many years of free hosting I setup a few family members and friends with email accounts. So I need hosting for 10 - 12 people for as close to free as possible and Namecheap so far seems like the best options.

I have started having problems with Namecheap and privateemail being blacklisted for spam. Makes me want to leave to a more reliable email host.

I feel like the title was a click bait.
I do like the way you don't hard dump Private email, man I took them because of you!!!
I do like Google's and Microsoft offers, but at my business state, I'm really happy with Private Email, mostly because of the price, so far the only issue I've noticed is their maintenance, hits me when I'm not expecting it, but I can live with that, I use it everyday to reply to my users and so far I really like it.
Maybe later I'd take the same path if/when I grow, but for now as @Craylor Made once did I totally recommend it for starters.

hi Christian! I recently switched to workspace from private email too, but I'm currently using the google workspace provided through name cheap, is that a problem? or should I delete that and use workspace without being managed under namecheap?

I really appreciate this I am going to do this but wonder if you have a video to help move all the content in my private email over to Gsuite, I just find namecheap's private email clunky. Hard to tell what is saved and where and what isn't saved. The search function s poor!!!

question: I'm looking to have a business Email and my domain is registered with NameCheap. But I was taken a bit back when Namecheap only includes 1-5 mailboxes and the rest is paid. Are other email providers out there that includes in their pricing multiple mailboxes in their prices?
