An error in the first screen: You CAN'T notice with the default FOV
This is just a game and this is how everything works in games. If the player doesn't see something don't put too much effort into it. I didn't make this video thinking it was a bug or Valve being lazy, I know they did on purpose.

Fun fact: This is actually for animations to be fast and smooth, otherwise reloads would be slower and shittier as there's almost no way to cover up time it takes to get a new mag in the animation.
