Jeez. I didn't know that Dust 2 on CS:S had that many particles. Guess to show what kind of era it was when back in that day it was particle effects and physics objects were the sh*t. Nowadays with CS:GO there are no particle effects in the environment and not many physics objects (the only object I can think of is the bucket on B site on Mirage, I think)

As someone who grew up on GO, i hated these but they grew on me and I like 'em more than GOs now. Specifically the variety and superior sounds even if GOs are smoother.

I'm 16 so most my age haven't played CSS, but a surprising amount like most my friends play or even prefer it to GO like me. My dream game is prolly a mix of CSS and Quake, have the main modes be like 30% of the content with a focus on silly casual community modes like kreeds surf hide and seek or zombies.

Counter strike source (2004): each pistol has its own unique and stylish reload animation.

CSGO (2012): Here have the exact same fucking reload animation for 4 of the pistols 😐

Even though these animations do look a bit clunky, they do their jobs well.These are great animations for 2004 game
