I got mine at Walmart for 160 bucks, but with only 64 GB. So far I can't complain, it's been a pretty good phone.. especally for the price.

I stopped paying a ton of money years ago. I would buy the hype and want the newest phone, but i realized i just want basic pics, videos and browsing. I dont need to go overboard to pay for that anymore.

Why are manufacturers and customers always so concerned about the Camera resolution on their cellphone? Are customers just buying into pointless hype? 50MP is a really exceptional camera.
If you're a YouTuber or photographer, you will need to buy real professional equipment. I think I speak for 98% of users when I say the processor speed, screen, wifi, and quality of calls is more important and manufacturers should stop focusing on how many megapixels the Camera has.
I wish manufacturers would just concentrate on building a phone with exceptional processors, screens and connectivity, and worry less about the camera so it keeps the price down.

now that we're at the end of the model year, you can now get this phone for $200. Amazing price.

Good review. Given this phone is now down to $299.00, it is at a better price point than others. Pretty solid specs.

Had the Samsung A71, OnePlus Nord, OnePlus 8, and this the best by far along with being cheaper. Don't care about paying for things with my phone, don't care about super high quality pics that have to get downgraded to send anyway and the Moto doesn't have several annoying issues that always get missed by reviewers. And it the clincher: it has a headphone jack!!

got this phone feb 2023 for $199 to replace my two+ year old $150 moto g power and that's about right for me I also never use a case so $200 is about max I will spend for a phone as I tear them up purity bad scratches dents and chips and in about two years they are not even worth trade in value as they look like garbage with my grungy Mechanics hands always touching it Thanks for the great review of this phone well rounded information and spot on for Motorola and its basic functions I have come to expect as this is like my 5th or 6th Motorola as my first one was still made in Fort worth Texas years ago before Lenovo even bought Motorola but I have been pleasantly surprised at how well Lenovo has keep it still feeling like the original but modern even my adult daughter still buys Motorola as she is also very conservative with her phone and what she will spend and about two years is how long she keeps them also .

I got the moto g power 2019 and it's sad how much better it is than current moto offerings. dual speakers, ultra wide camera lense, full HD resolution and a Qualcomm chipset. I am looking to upgrade but with the sad moto line up might have to switch back to Samsung

I literally paid $10 for this phone in June 2023 in a promotion from Boost. Probably offering it to everyone to make up from the hack lol. It's only 64 GB but my previous phone (LG K51) was 32 so 64 seems massive by comparison. Great phone, and I'm super happy with it.

Motorola has decent hardware for the price, but yeah their software longevity is abysmal.

My new Moto G5 g was only $100 as an upgrade at MetroPCS but it only had 64 gig of memory.

Comcast just sent me this phone for free! I'll have to learn how to use it. Does it not turn on until you have it fully charged?

I just got mine at Walmart for $110. It only came through with 64gb storage ( which is fine for my use). The phone camera does OK - I guess - but isn’t an issue for me since I haven’t seen any phone cameras that perform as well as an actual camera.

why moto makes bulky / big phones?.. No compact phone like S22?..

Are you able to switch 5g off and use 4g LTE on this device?

I love when people look at the cheapest phones and are surprised they aren't that great.

About it missing NFC “It’s time for that feature to hit those price ranges”. However you did not mention what you would sacrifice. It being time doesn’t matter if it increases the price of the phone.
