I wanted a 5G phone, but I didn't want to spend anymore than $300. So I took a chance and purchased the Moto G 5G Plus from Amazon for about $250. Wasn't sure the 5G would work in the United States on Tmobile's GSM network, but I took a chance. Initially when setup all I got was 4g. But once I left the house and got closer to the city, 5G illuminated on the phone. It deviates between 5G and 4G depending on where I am, of course. I'm disappointed in one thing. Like the Moto G7 and Moto G8, I've had before, the screen just does NOT get very bright and it is hard to see in bright sunlight. The battery also does NOT last as long as my Moto G8 Power. But it will carry me through the day.
