I am enjoying how Hearthstone managed to adapt their aesthetic and gameplay into something akin to autochess while still retaining their identity. People keep comparing it to TFT when they are, in essence, different games.

"This is just a one cost unit, this is fine" Literally every unit is a 3 cost unit though. Lower tier units have the most time potentially on the board getting buffed, they are your power units, high tier units are enablers and deniers. Toki and A F Kay can skew the balance due to being able to rush higher tier units to make the enabling units also be powerful units in their own right, but the low tier units tend to be the more powerful units on the board from a pure stat perspective.

This version of auto battler has surprisingly good legs as far as strategy goes. While it seems you have to go absolutely all-in on 1 tribe, there's still many ways to get there with several winning board states for each faction
